Apprenticeship

Free training courses, as an apprentice they receive a salary and prepare a BTS – a Higher National Certificate in English – or an engineer degree in partnership with CNAM in Aix-en-Provence and EiCNAM in Paris. As an apprentice they get a two/three years work experience. Since 2000, CFAI 84 has been in a partnership with CNAM PACA in order to train new engineers by the means of an apprenticeship. The engineer degree has been certified by the French National Engineer Title Commission.

CNAM PACA

Established for more than 40 years in Aix-en-Provence, Marseille and Nice, CNAM is now spread out in the whole region. Training courses in a higher degree can be attended: There are 4 main axes:

  • Economy and management
  • Work and society
  • IT technology and science
  • Science and technology in industry

Since 1997 CNAM is the main partner in CFAI 84’s training courses for future engineers in apprenticeship

Training Centre on our site, our partner in vocational training, HNC in the tertiary sector and training in welding and boiler-making.

CFAI Provence

CFAI 84 and CFAI Provence work in partnership in order to have a huger range of training programs and companies available for our young generation.

COMPANIES

CFAI 84 is partly financed by the companies by the means of the apprenticeship tax.

FINANCIAL PARTNERS
  • CFAI 84 is an institution, it is financed by UIMM.
  • UIMM is a Union of industry and regional associations, it’s a professional federation. 130 different Unions work together solving technical and economical problems. Always taking into account the general interest, UIMM plays a major role in the French employer’s organisation, reinforced by the economic weight and the diversity of the industrial sectors it represents.
  • The Provence Alpes Côtes-d’Azur Region which finances some of the work (renovation, expansion) and equipment needed at CFAI 84. They also participate in the development of new classes (courses). The Region finances the vocational training.
